This project explored patterns in stock returns and volatility based on a 500 day trading period dataset from Jane Street. We conducted PCA and selected 10 features out of 129 to conduct analysis. We made predictions on number of transactions, returns of specific timeframes, and the inverse relation between volatility and investment time horizon. We also conducted Chi-Square test to evaluate the distribution of trade data.

PATTERNS IN DNA TO PREDICT
ORIGIN OF REPLICATION

Python Model Developer

This project analyzed the patterns of palindromes in CMV virus's DNA to predict the origin of replication so that scientists can take preventative measures to stop the virus from replicating. We conducted Chi-Square tests to compare the distribution of palindromes to Uniform, Poisson and Exponential Distribution using concept of Scan Statistic.
